Calling all diaspora in New York, New Jersey, Toronto, and London! The annual barrel shipping rush is starting.
From Brooklyn (Tropical / Laparkan / CaribTrans):
• Sea freight cut-off for guaranteed arrival before Dec 18th is usually second week of November.
• Air freight small packages can ship until Dec 5th but cost significantly more.
Tip for packing: Put heavy items (canned goods, laundry detergent, flour) at the bottom in double contractor bags, fragile gifts in the middle wrapped in towels, and toiletries taped tight so heat in the container doesn't pop shampoo caps!
